Dr. Barry Schaitkin is an Ear Nose and Throat doctor who specializes in the treatment of salivary gland disorders including the relatively new minimally invasive procedure of salivary endoscopy.
This procedure allows for the removal of salivary stones and relief
of salivary duct stenosis with a minimally invasive approach. The operation is
performed under sedation without general anesthesia as an out patient. In
most instances the salivary gland does not have to be removed.
Dr. Schaitkin is a Professor of Otolaryngology at the University
